Organ needles have a significant feature in that the eyes are one size larger than most embroidery needles. A larger eye needle, without increased blade diameter, allows the embroidery thread to pass easily through the needle's eye without fraying or snapping.

Sharp Point needles are available in the following sizes with 10 needles per package:

• 65/9 - very fine knits
• 70/10 - fine knits such as light weight jersey or similar
• 75/11 - medium to fine weight fabrics such as pique or jersey
• 80/12 - medium to heavy weight fabrics such as interlock knits and fleece knits
• 90/14 - heavy weight fabrics such as velour knits or heavy fleece
